Insulation For Your Home

A well insulated home keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, which translate to lower utility expenses for the homeowner.

In addition, installing insulation in the interior walls of your home will greatly reduce the flow of sound, resulting in a quieter living environment.

C & R Insulation is a premier insulating contractor that installs only the best products such as fiberglass insulation and  Formaldehyde-free fiberglass insulation. Our installers are highly trained with many years of experience to ensure the insulation is properly installed in your home.

C & R Insulation will work with the builder to decide which type of insulation and installation method is the best for your home to ensure year around comfort and local code conformance.

We offer the following types of insulation:

Fiber Glass Batt Insulation

This type of insulation comes in various R-values. The higher the R value, the greater the insulating efficiency. The cavity space determines the highest R-value that can be used. For example, a 2x4 exterior wall can have up to an R-15 insulation and a 2x6 exterior wall can have up to R-21 insulation. In general the following insulation types are used:

·  R-11 Batt Insulation- interior walls or basement ceilings for sound control.

·  R-13 or R-15 Batt Insulation for 2x4 exterior wall construction.

·  R-19 or R-21 Batt Insulation for 2x6 exterior wall construction.

·  R-30 Batt Insulation for 2x10 exterior wall construction or cathedral ceilings

·  R-38 Batt Insulation for 2x12 exterior wall construction or cathedral ceilings

Fiberglass Loose Fill Insulation

Fiberglass Premium Loose Fill Insulation or Fiberglass Blowing Wool Insulation can be blown into attics of commercial buildings or residential homes. This type of insulation can be used to upgrade the insulation in existing homes where insulation is not present or at a high enough R-value.
